So now you have purchased and built some garden sheds, now the big question is: where do you want to put it?
Many people have asked the same question. The answer is plain simple – it always depends on what you are using it for.
When you make such decision, it is important to check whether there is a building permit necessary. If there is none, it is also vital to check whether your neighborhood would require any sort of permit too.
Secondly, observe where the position of the sun is. If you are the type who want to work with their gardens during summer or on a hot weather, then it is better to build garden sheds under a shade. Of course, if you plan your garden sheds to serve as a potting shed, then make sure it is positioned directly under the sunlight. Also, make sure that there is a water supply near it.
Phone lines and electric wire also are vital. You can put your garden sheds closer to it if you prefer to have easy access.
The door for your garden sheds has to be near a path. When it is rainy season, the floor becomes really muddy and it is hard to go there. During winter too, snow might build up around it. Therefore, if your door is in line with a pathway, it is easier for you to walk into it.
Once it has been set up, be observant of shrubs that overhang your garden sheds. Also, build it near a fence or wall so you can maintain it easily.
